It’s almost Christmas! With the crazy year we’ve had, I am so excited to have some time off and celebrate the Savior. However, this year has brought a lot of extra financial stress to many of us. Therefore, I’ve decided to try out some DIY Christmas presents for my loved ones! It’s cheap and way more fun. Plus, don’t you just love it when you receive a gift that you know has a little extra love put into it?

Nativities

  • If you need a gift for someone younger, they might enjoy these adorable nativity finger puppets!
  • Page 31 of the December 2009 Friend magazine has a cute idea for a “memory box.” The things inside can help you remember the real reason for the season!
  • Your kids will love helping you out painting these rocks for a unique nativity scene.

Family History

  • I had no idea how easy it could be to make a family photo heirloom ornament. Plus, they look really professional!
  • This wooden DIY could be anything you want. Transfer a family tree, a family picture, or a motto for future generations.

Lighting the World
