But first! Are Mormons considered Christians? Great question! The official name of the Church is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (sometimes shortened as “Church of Jesus Christ,” “LDS Church,” or “Mormon Church). The official title contains the name of Jesus Christ and all of the doctrine of the Church is centered on Jesus. The Book of Mormon, a companion to the Bible, is called, “The Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ.” WE LOVE JESUS CHRIST AND HIS DOCTRINE!
