General Women’s Meeting Focuses On Temple, Covenants, Love
Thousands of female members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints filled the Conference Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, this evening. All female members of the Church, ages eight and older, were invited to attend the General Women’s Meeting, part of the Church’s semi-annual General Conference.
The session featured a combined choir of primary girls, young women, and Relief Society sisters from stakes in the Magna, Salt Lake, Hunter and Taylorsville areas. Also shown during the session were two videos featuring women from around the world. A primary choir from Seoul, Korea, sang “I Love to See the Temple” live in the first video, and the second video showed women from around the world describing their love for the temple.
The session speakers included Linda K. Burton, Jean A. Stevens, Neill F. Marriott and Dieter F. Uchtdorf. This session had an overarching theme focusing on temples, covenants, and the love our Heavenly Father and Savior have for each and every daughter of God.
