Larry King Interviews Lindsey Stirling About Success, Embarassing Moment
Larry King talked with Lindsey Stirling on his show last week about her rise to success.
Stirling revealed that her rejection on America’s Got Talent led her to be more diligent with her music, but only after getting over the feeling that she was a failure. The international star shared her story with King and discussed her new book, “The Only Pirate at the Party.”
The 29-year-old musician revealed that although she’s always had a fascination with pirates, there’s a real-life story behind the title. Stirling explains that when she first moved to Los Angeles, she was invited to a Peter Pan themed party. Having just finished a pirate themed music video, the musician showed up in what she thought was the perfect costume for the party—until she realized she was the only person in costume.
Stirling admits her embarrassment with the situation, but decided to stay. She said,

King also addressed Stirling’s faith in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, in which Stirling stated her faith is a huge part of who she is.
