LDS Young Man Among Those Slain In Nevada

Quinton Robbins was a 20 year old Latter-day Saint member from Nevada. He had aspirations of becoming a dentist, and during his free time, he refereed at several recreational sports in his hometown of Henderson, Nevada. He loved fishing, hunting, and country music. His grandmother remembers him as “just a jewel.”

He was slain during the worst mass shooting massacre in American history.

The shooting took place early Monday morning, and at the time of writing this, at least 59 people have died and 527 are injured.

In this time of enormous grief and questions that inevitably begin with “why,” Quinton’s aunt Kilee Wells Sanders remains an example of faith in the face of evil in this Facebook post:

“Because of the gospel and plan of salvation I have faith we will be with him again. Quinton Robbins, I, and your entire family will miss you so much everyday. Always will be thinking about you.”

She reminds us later in the post that the best help anyone can give is prayers. We would also like to echo these sentiments and encourage all to pray for both the Robbins family and those who lost loved ones in this horrific act of evil.

Here is more information about Quinton Robbins. There is also a go fund me account to aid the family in funeral costs.

This article may be updated pending new information about other LDS members killed or injured in the Nevada shooting.
