Announcing Free Come Follow Me Resources
After President Russell M. Nelson announced that the Church would gravitate away from using the word ‘Mormon’ to identify ourselves, we at ThirdHour.org began to brainstorm a new name for our website, which was then called MormonHub.com. The possibility that the Sunday schedule would be shortened had not become a reality yet. It was just in the rumor mill.
We loved the name Third Hour, however, and just as we were about to make it so, the Sunday meeting schedule was indeed shortened. True to our new name, we want to help make your third hour of study at home a great success.
So we are launching a section of our website dedicated to Come Follow Me resources. These resources are being created by our design and content departments and are absolutely free. You can access these resources from our homepage. The portal can be found at the upper right corner of the page, or you can use the drop-down menu under the Resources tab.
When you click on the Come Follow Me box on the homepage (or from the Resources drop-down menu), you will be taken to the following link https://thirdhour.org/comefollowme/. Or, you can bookmark that link and go to it directly. Here is what the page will look like:
Clicking on the blue “Getting Started” button will take you to the collected resources for organizing your lessons and study for the year — calendars, study charts, ways to keep track of what you learn and share with others. All of the files are downloadable and printable.
Underneath the Getting Started button you will see a list of lessons. The lessons that are ready to download are “live” with others soon to come. Clicking on a specific lesson will lead you to material that is not found in the Come Follow Me for Individuals and Families manual. These resources include information about the scriptures and context for understanding them, plus games, activities, etc. Enjoy!
Share with your friends and encourage them to Like the ThirdHour Facebook page which will make access to all sorts of great content even easier. Also, join ThirdHour’s Facebook group to share ideas.
