Bradley Mills: Ice Hockey and Mormonism

After losing to the LA Kings, the Blackhawks were out of the running for the 2014 Stanley Cup. It was a disappointing loss for the Blackhawks, and all of Chicago, really. But, their loss brings attention to one of the players, Bradley Mills: a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

His conversion story is unique and shows that the Lord never gives up on His children.

Mills’ father, Craig Mills, was baptized a member of the Church in 1980 following a very special experience with the Holy Ghost, a year before Mills was born. However, his wife still had reservations and remained a Catholic. While Craig would attend sacrament meetings his wife would take the kids to Catholic services. Growing up, Bradley Mills was often confused why his family attended two separate churches, but was never interested in committing to a specific church.
