Brooke White’s New Music Video ‘Something Divine’

Brooke White, a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and a vocalist who placed top 5 in the seventh season of American Idol, released a music video with Mormon Channel called “Something Divine.”

The song’s lyrics remind us that we each have a divine purpose and heritage, and that our talents and skills are gifts from God to help us bless the lives of others.

In an interview with Mormon Channel Daily, White said she wrote the song for a friend who was struggling and about how our beliefs and testimonies will be challenged. She focused her lyrics on the importance of keeping our faces directed towards the sun, and letting the light guide us until we receive more understanding and knowledge.
