Finding the Strength to Forgive
I grew up watching the Living Scriptures videos that illustrate stories from the Book of Mormon and Bible. One of my favorite stories was the parable of the unmerciful servant.
Christ uses this parable to explain the importance of forgiveness. It can be found in Matthew 18: 21-35
21 Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?
22 Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.

10,000 talents = more than 10 billion dollars
100 pence = 2 dollars
This is the Living Scripture portrayal of the unmerciful servant. You can tell that he is the villain in the story because of his large nose.

-Forgive 70×7 (In a marriage you pass that number)
We are all the man with the big nose. We have been forgiven and cannot repay our debt. We should be able to forgive those that wrong us.
Growing up I loved watching the Living Scriptures videos.

Forgiveness is not natural. We remember things.
Christ can give us the power to forgive
