Instant Awesome: Missionary Bluegrass Song Is Internet Gold

A district of musically inclined missionaries in the Tennessee Nashville Mission of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints recently spent a p-day (preparation day) coming up with a bluegrass rendition of “When the Saints Go Marching In” and shared it on Youtube. They’ve clearly soaked in the Nashville culture!

We just hope they found time to write their parents. (Remember the Monson Rule, Elders and Sisters!)

The video stars:
Tony Huddleston (Mandolin)
Sister Kate Hargadon (Harmonica & Guitar)
Sister Carrie Smith (Fiddle)
Elder Jordan Zabriske (Guitar)
Elder Skyler Hansen (Tamborine)
Sister Lauren Bundy (Drum)
Sister Kayla Squire (Banjo)

Check out mormonsoprano.com, who first released the video, to see an additional version of “Nearer My God to Thee.”
