Family. . . .Isn’t it about time!
The family is the core unit of any society. Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (inadvertently referred to as the “Mormon” Church by the media and others) take it one step further, as they believe that the family is central to God’s plan for His children. It is through the family that children are born, and where they are loved and learn how to love, have their temporal needs met, and are nurtured in truth and righteousness. None of us choose which family we are born into, but we strive each day to make our family happier and stronger. Latter-day Saints further believe that families can be together forever. Below are some videos which exemplify these principles.
By the Hour – A little boy resorts to the change that he has saved up to buy some of his father’s time.
Something Important to Do – A father learns that spending time with his family is what really matters most.
Going to the Dogs – A little girl comes home from school excited to show her family a picture that she drew, but the family is too busy to pay attention, so she shares the picture with the family dog.
I Want A Drink – A little boy seemingly annoys his father throughout the night, but in the end the father doesn’t seemed annoyed at all.
Waiting for Dad – A daughter waits patiently for her father while he is busy conducting business on the phone.
Kidnapped – A family devises a plan to get dad to focus on what matters most – his family.
Cookies – A father has a heart-to-heart talk with his younger daughter about her sister.
Is Mom Home? – A mother encourages her son to keep playing the piano although he rather go out and play. His sister accompanies him and the tune sounds much better.
But Why? – A son pesters his dad with a lot of questions until his dad decides that spending time with his son is the most important thing.
