Lexi Walker and the One Voice Children’s Choir Make it Through ‘America’s Got Talent’
Sunday night the One Voice Children’s Choir, who gained instant internet fame for their cover of Frozen‘s “Let it Go,” was on “America’s Got Talent” auditioning for a spot on the game show and the $1 Million dollar prize.
The group consists of 100 children ages 4-17 and Lexi Walker, 12, was one of the three soloists for the group’s cover of Ellie Goulding’s “Burn.”
Two of the judges, Howard Stern and Heidi Klum, lauded the performance of the young Choir saying,
“I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. In the singing category, we look for moments. Some people describe it as chills or the hair on their arm goes up, or something like that,” Stern said.
“If you get one of those moments, you’re pretty good. It’s what you need, at least. You guys had about 50 of those moments.”
