Mormon Channel Releases Emergency Preparedness Video Series

Leaders of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints have often urged members to prepare themselves for emergencies, particularly through building up food storage. Mormon Channel has released a video series to help people take the first steps to begin their supply.

Hard times can upset any individual or family due to natural disasters, unemployment or unexpeccted expenses. Preparing for life’s unforseen challenges by having a food storage supply can help families with the financial burden that often accompanies hard situations.

The Mormon Channel video series, “Self Reliance,” provides tips on how to build a food storage without being overwhelmed. The first video in the series, “How to Begin Your Supply,” is posted above and helps viewers understand that building a food storage does not have to break the bank. The second video, “How to Start a Water Supply,” is posted below and teaches viewers how to stock up on water.
