0:06 – Elder Perry’s Passing

Elder L. Tom Perry of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles passed away in his home this weekend at the age of 92. He was recently diagnosed with terminal thyroid cancer, which quickly spread throughout his body. He is survived by his wife Barbara Taylor Denton, and will be missed by members worldwide. The funeral will take place Friday, June 5th at 11 am mountain standard time in the tabernacle on temple square and is open to the public. The service will also be broadcast live on churchofjesuschrist.org, KSL, and BYUtv.

0:37 – Elder Oaks Shows How Missionary Assignment Meetings Work

Elder Dallin H. Oaks shared insights into how future missionaries are assigned to their missions. He wrote that he always goes to missionary assignment meetings fasting, and recently assigned 240 missionaries to their missions located in the 400 missions across the world. He also thanked those who have served and to those willing to serve.

And a group of BYU students are hoping to get their original song in the final movie of the Hunger Games series. The song is called “Live or Survive and their video has almost gotten 100,000 views.
