0:07 – Paying Tithing Online
The Church approved a new way to pay tithing, fast offerings, and other charitable donations online. The Church online donations website will be made available to members by area throughout the rest of the year. A new feature on the site will also allow members to donate directly to an individual’s missionary fund.
0:24 – New Mission Areas Opening
Two changes are coming to the mission field this summer, both of which will go into effect on July 1st. The countries of Sierra Leone and Liberia will reopen for missionary work following their close last August during the Ebola outbreak. The Central Eurasian Mission will also open in July, which covers Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgzstan, Tajikstan, Turkey and Uzbekistan.
0:47 – Mother’s Day Campaign
And Mormon Channel is challenging members to do something special for their Mom’s this Mother’s Day. Their video encourages members to see how much they can give back to their Mom in 48 hours, and to share the things they do for their Mothers using #timeformom.
