The Mormon Minute recaps news that’s happening in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This week, we cover: President Nelson’s trip to Houston, the Orem Institute’s Share Expo, and BYUtv’s first reality show.

During a trip to Houston, Texas to visit with local religious and civic leaders as well as the missionaries serving in the area, President Nelson also sat down with the local television station to talk about the Church’s missionary efforts. He expressed how deeply impressed he is with the generation of missionaries currently serving.
0:23 – Share Expo
Over 1,200 young single adults from the Orem Institute of Religion gathered together to learn how to better share the gospel online. Influential members of the Church shared tips on how to genuinely share your faith online and several artists including Jenn Blosil and Madilyn Paige performed. Through the efforts of the More Good Foundation’s share expo, the attendees accomplished over 7,000 missionary activities on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and Pinterest in just a few short hours.
0:51 – Relative Race on BYUtv
And BYUtv has a new reality show that involves aspects of the reality competition “The Amazing Race” and genealogy. “Relative Race” follows four teams as they race across the country to find family members and fill in their family tree.
