Texas Siblings Open Mission Call on Same Day, Called to Same City

Although India and York Westhenaver turned in their mission papers on the same day, they never expected to receive their calls at the same time or to the same city. But that’s exactly what happened for the brother and sister duo from Houston, Texas.

The mother of the siblings, Hildie, shared a video to YouTube and her blog of her children reading their calls in front of family and friends. India opened her call first and announced that she is assigned to labor in the Brazil Sao Paulo Interlagos Mission. York then followed with the opening of his call to a neighboring mission in the same city, the Brazil Sao Paulo South Mission. 

Both Indie and York will report to the Missionary Training Center in Brazil on September 9.
