‘The Cokeville Miracle’ Hits Theaters Nationwide this Weekend

The Cokeville Miracle” is set to hit the big screen this weekend, Friday, June 5, 2015.

In May 1986 a madman and his wife took an entire elementary school hostage in Cokeville, Wyoming. The intruders, carrying guns and a bomb, forced more than 100 students and teachers into a single classroom with a ransom of $200 million.

The feature film doesn’t just retell the crisis, it also describes eyewitnesses stories of prayer and divine intervention as the Sheriff’s investigator tries to uncover the mystery behind the miracle.

The movie’s website describes the film, based on the true story, as something more than a horrible day. “The Cokeville Miracle is not just the story of a hostage crisis, or a terror attack on American soil. It is not just the story of a bomb that could have destroyed an entire generation, and ripped a town apart. The Cokeville Miracle is about what happened instead… Each child, each adult who made it out of that room has a story to tell.”

“The Cokeville Miracle” will open in select theaters this weekend in the following states:
