Video Celebrates 100 Years of Family Home Evening
Mormon Newsroom shared a new video to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the creation of Family Home Evening (FHE) for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
The video features a family from Arlington, Virginia, who holds FHE every week and considers the time they spend together invaluable. The mother of the family, Emily, states that FHE is an opportunity for her family to focus on the things that mean the most to them, like family, faith, service and friendship. Her husband explains,

Emily and her family starts FHE off each week with a song of the children’s choosing before diving into the lesson. They always make sure to spend some time in the scriptures learning together as a family. After the spiritual lesson, the family holds scheduling meetings, where they can organize and plan for the different upcoming events family members are participating in.
