Notes:

— Some viewers familiar with Latter-day Saint beliefs may wonder why I didn’t mention Christ’s expected visit to the “New Jerusalem” temple said to be built in the future in Jackson County, Missouri. That event was not included because it seems to me that there is some ambiguity about whether or not that visitation will be physical and literal, versus figurative, symbolic, or only “in spirit”. For example, every Latter-day Saint temple is considered “the House of the Lord” where we can feel God’s presence. But that doesn’t mean that God is literally, physically appearing there in the flesh. Thus, at least to me, the nature of Christ’s visit to the future New Jerusalem temple is unclear.
